Old castle of the 9^th century. Now vantage poit over the sea, with beautiful panorama views of the coast.

Church of El Salvador

Temple of the 16^th century with important baroque reforms, realized in the 17^th century. The tower shows clear mudéjar characteristics.

Charmming church of the 17^th century, beautiful baroque-mudéjar style.

Puente del Águila

Aqueduct of the 14^th, constructed to carry the water to the mills of the old sugar factory San Joaquín de Maro.

Ermita de las Angustias

Hermitage of the 17^th century, with pure grenadine frescos, in the cupola. Inside you can see the portrait of the villages'saint.

Maro

Maro belongs to Nerja, situated on beautiful cliffs with lots of small beaches.

Frigiliana

Picturesque andalusian village in the Sierra de Almijara, 6 km from Nerja. White streets full of flowers, where you can enjoy exquisite wines.
